Monetary Guidelines for Club Participation

Each production and many activities offered as part of club membership have associated fees for participation.

Please Note: No student will ever be turned away from being involved in a Dexter Drama Production for family financial limitations.  Please contact Drama Club Producer Jennifer Moraschinelli at moraschinellij@dexterschools.org or Drama Club Advisor Erin Palmer at palmere@dexterschools.org for more information.

Fees for Any of our Five Major Productions

Production fee for participation is $115 when paid by check ($120 if paid through Paypal)

The production fee is paid by every company member, regardless of role in the production (cast, crew, pit). It is nonrefundable if the student chooses to drop after 1st week of the production process.  If a student does not pay the Production fee by the deadline, the Production fee increases by $10 unless a student, parent, or guardian contacts Mrs. Palmer or Mrs. Moraschinelli in advance of the due date.

This fee assists with the cost of the production as well as provides meals and water for students during tech weekend/week and performance week/weekend.

Major Productions for the 2025-2026 season are: Macbeth, “3D” Series, Seussical, Cat in the Hat and Singin’ in the Rain

Fees for Optional Club Activities and Merchandise

The club has a number of optional opportunities for members throughout the year which have associated costs. General club merchandise is also available for purchase.

International Thespian Society Membership

$100 one-time fee. Can be transferred if student switches schools.

Thespian Festival

$350 fee covers overnight stay in Lansing, Michigan. Additional $40 fee for scholarship auditions.

New York City Trip

$1500 fee. Can be paid in 3 installments through Eleyo. Open to High School Drama members 11th and 12th graders first, with 30 total slots available. Additional spending money should be expected for trip.

Improv Performances

$5 tickets paid in cash at the door

General Drama Club Merchandise

$25-$40 for various items
