Mamma mia audition materials
Welcome to the Mamma Mia Audition Materials; here, you will find all the Mamma Mia Audition Materials separated by a character, along with other useful resources.
What to prepare for auditions
Prepare one or two of the vocal audition pieces for auditions next Tuesday. You do not have to be memorized.
Come ready to move for the dance audition component. No experience necessary! We will teach to you the short routine at the audition! Try your best and have fun!
“Cold reads” or exerts from the script will be the last part of your Mamma Mia audition in which you will be reading dialogue to portray characters and situations from the show! It’s acting time! No experience necessary just familiarize yourself with the characters and be ready to connect with scene partners!

CallBack materials
Donna and Sophie:
Donna and Sophie's callback selections are longer, but they are the characters we need to know the most about.
The second Sophie is a back up, and the two lines that are her hardest in the show.
Sam:
Sam is straight forward, but does include Donna if we need to see these two characters sing together and for chemistry.
Harry/Bill:
Harry/Bill's cut is from Harry's song, but Bill does not sing as much in the show so we are doubling up. We could also just read Bill for callbacks.
Rosie:
Rosie's cut is a mix that I would like to encourage students to start sincere and then bring the silly when the music picks up.
Tanya:
Tanya would ideally move and sing when she sings her cut. It isn't a hard song, but she has to sing and dance a ton!
Sky:
Sky has the song from auditions and if need be we will have him sing to Sophie for chemistry too.
