Off-Q Improv

Improv is behaving in an unscripted way. Whether it’s with our words, movement, or mannerisms, everyone is constantly improvising. You probably improvised today! (Unless you had everything scripted out: impressive!) At Off-Q Improv, we have fun by honing this innate ability to think spontaneously.
Each meeting, attendees are invited to play short games within a fictional scene where all of the dialogue and blocking is made up on the spot!


Sound intimidating? Participation in the improv games is fully optional, and interested students are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings just to watch! We foster a completely no-judgement zone at Off-Q Improv, where everyone is welcome to participate, all feedback is constructive, all members feel supported, and everyone feels free to laugh and have a good time.

Aidan Zeglis is a Senior, entering his fourth year with the Dexter Drama Club. His favorite show he has done with the club is Brigadoon. He is so excited to serve as your Improv Captain!

Weekly Meetings
Join us every Friday from 3:00 to 4:30 in the DHS choir room!

Middle schoolers can join whenever possible. We know it takes time to get to the high school after school!

Come cheer us on! Our performances are super fun and we love a lively crowd.

Stay tuned to this page for performance locations. Most occur in the CPA, but when weather allows sometimes we utilize the outdoor amphitheater at DHS!

All tickets are sold at the door for general seating (CASH ONLY).
