Talent Show Sign-Up Meeting Friday April 25
If participating, make sure to attend one of the MANDATORY rehearsals on May 9th, and May 12 in the CPA at 3:30pm
Dates:
Informational and Sign-Up Meeting: Friday, April 25th from 3-4:00pm in ROOM 71.
*Please be ready to show your talent to Ms. Palmer (even if it is a work in progress) or show a video or recording if all members of your act cannot be present at this meeting. Be able to articulate what equipment you need, lighting you want, biography information you want in the program, etc. You may sign up for more than one talent or performance, but acceptance of acts are based on number of acts who sign up! Also have your availability for the Dress Rehearsals as indicated below:
Dress Rehearsal(s): May 9th OR 12th from 3:30-6:30pm in the CPA.
*Please be ready to rehearse your talent as if this was the show at ONE of these rehearsals. You will sign up for ONE of these dates at the first sign-up meeting Friday April 25th! So check your schedules!
TALENT SHOW DATE: May 16 at 7pm in CPA. Tickets are $5 for all!
*As a performer, you need to be there by 6:00pm to check-in. All acts need to be behind stage 2 acts prior to their performance slot. If watching in the CPA, please enter and exit quietly at the top of the theater as to not disturb or interrupt our other performers. There will be an intermission and concessions sold at the event.
Responsibilities:
*All acts must be readily prepared for each rehearsal. Your act may be removed from the production if you are unprepared.
*All acts will be provided with the basics: microphones, sound system to play CD, i-pod, etc, and lighting. Spot lights will be available. For other talents that require additional equipment, you must bring your own (i.e. band instruments, amps, etc.).
*All acts must openly communicate with the Stage Manager or Ms. Palmer. The night of the performance other students will be helping to transition from performance to performance. Respecting and listening to these individuals must be maintained so the show can go on!
