International Thespian Society
Dexter Drama Club Troupe #2258
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is an honor society organization that recognizes students involved in all areas of theater—performance, technical work, and music. Like the National Honor Society for academics, ITS celebrates dedication to the arts and offers networking and scholarship opportunities, especially for those pursuing theater in college. Open to all interested students, ITS connects members to a vibrant state, national, and international theater community. One major highlight is the Michigan Thespian Festival, where students can grow their skills and connect with peers across the state. ITS offers something for every theater student—we highly encourage you to join!

Thespian Festival
Michigan's largest annual theatre event is the Michigan Thespian Festival. Over the course of the two days at festival, students are able to see multiple shows, choose from over 50 different workshops (in various areas of performance and technical theatre), compete in a variety of Individual Events, audition for scholarships from colleges, and visit information booths and theatrical vendors.
As a high school member our our troupe you can participate in this event!
