Officer Elections
Officer Elections: May 13th, 2026 | 3:30pm | Dexter High School Media Center
Please read all the nominees’ letters prior to Elections in order to make sure everyone is making an informed decision on who to vote for!
Candidates will give a prepared 2-minute speech. They will give their speeches individually, with the other candidates out of the room. Once each of the candidates has offered their speeches for a particular office; the voters will be allowed to discuss the candidates and the office in general in a constructive fashion. During this discussion, all nominees for the position will be in the hallway.
If candidates are nominated for more than one position, then the first speech they give will be the full 2 minutes, and every position afterwards will be allocated 30 seconds.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Communications and External Affairs are both 2 year commitments, no reelection needed. The new officer for the 2026-2027 Season will also hold their position for the 2027-2028 Season.
